Adolescent-Young Adult and Multi-Age

The Adolescent to Young Adult (Secondary)/Multi Age (Pre K-12) Teacher Education Program, which is based on a foundation of liberal arts education, emphasizes the importance of the individual effort in striving to achieve true educational growth and development. The idea of broad intellectual development is presented, regardless of the area(s) of licensure.

The purpose of the Adolescent to Young Adult (Secondary)/Multi Age (Pre K-12) Teacher EducationProgram, is to prepare the student to become a competent, professional beginning secondary or pre K-12 school teacher while meeting State licensure requirements.

Endorsement Programs

Computer and Technology Endorsement

The Computer and Technology Endorsement program is an 18 semester hour program designed for teachers who plan to teach computer applications, want to better integrate technology into the classroom, or who want to hold a technology coordinator position. The Endorsement can only be added to an existing teaching license. The coursework can also be applied to a master's degree.
